Busy busy busy!

These past two months have gone by so fast, working on the mural, working at work, and trying to find time in the one hour I have between work and mural-ing to do my life. I had to faux a huge room at the school so fast, I broke the sound barrier on Saturday so I could take Charlon and Scott to the airport, and my head is still spinning... I am babysitting Charlon's kids while she is in Hawaii this week. Amber has them during the day, I have them after school and at night... so I am sleeping there, and getting as ready for work as I can, and then take the two little ones Cade and Cole to Amber's, then to my house to put work clothes on then dash to work. I don't know how I ever raised five kids. It is so daunting! Thank goodness Hailey and Hannah are there because I couldn't do it without them!

Under the Sea Mural

Brandon was hired to do a Mural at Kid's International Pre-school/Day Care. Since it was such a huge undertaking he hired me to help him.. What fun! I have had a blast even though I have been working all day, I go home and go out to the school and paint until almost midnight or later every night. This has been going on for six weeks now! But as you can see, the results are pretty cool. There will be a grand opening when it is all finished, so watch this post to find out when it will be if you want to come and check it out. Brandon's amazing talent is pretty awesome, and that he trusts me to paint with him is a miracle!

Aaron and K-9 Brett

K-9 Brett gets his vest

DPS had a ceremony last week on August 23rd to honor the new K-9's that are named after Fallen Officers and give them their vests. After Aaron told me he needed to buy K-9 Brett his vest at the cost of $750 I told him I would raise the money to pay for it. $1590 dollars later, we had raised enough money to pay for two dogs vests, K-9 Brett and K-9 Walker. All the money raised was donated through Concerns of Police Survivors, and a big thank you to all who donated generosly to make this possible! Now Brett can protect Aaron, and be protected as well!

Me being interviewed by the media...Yikes!!!!!
